Father and son team win annual Warrior Tournament

The annual Warrior Tournament, a grueling 27 holes of golf competition for two-person teams, was held Saturday, June 27 at Twin Lakes Golf Course, with Logan and Gary Adams topping all comers for the scratch championship. The final results included handicap and women’s competition too.

Mary Ann Huss, of Richland Ranchettes (Cochise), Ariz., died at home on July 22, 2015 at the age of 88. She was born in Palm Bay, Fla. on June 1, 1927 to John Hoffrichter and Mary Atz Hoffrichter.

T.J. Vanover of Willcox died at her home on July 24, 2015 at the age of 49. She was born in Bakersfield, Calif., on April 16, 1966 to Troy Pinkley and Mary Dell Cash Pinkley.
